I would expect that with an absolute zero level of Ammonia to convert, there would be no Bacteria. but that would mean there was no fish or anything...

Baybud, I would first figure out what the new saltwater levels are prior to adding anything. I would also use 1.026 as you salinity level....

They do tend to leach a lot of Salt out of the water. Also they are not as good at exporting nutrients as Cheto or other Macro Algae but you can't...
I've also heard of lights out for a week to rid your tank of Bryopsis. I've also heard there where some SPS losses J

It's for Freshwater only. as per the link. Cool Idea, But for under $100 you can get a pinpoint. Far more accurate.
