2 250w MH or a 4-lamp T5HO w/ATI bulbs would support any coral you want to keep in a 75g tank, so you can upgrade switch to LED when and if you want...
Great experiment, Matt. FWIW, if increased evaporation or salt spray/creep becomes a problem, one could always add a glass top. The...
The question was concerning coralline algae, not corals. While the watts per gallon rule was thrown out the window a few years ago, I would still...
Can't really ID it either, but if in doubt, take it out. A dip in Coral RX or equivalent should do the trick.
Yep, gettin the itch, myself. Bout time to place another order. :D Congrats on the adds. Tank looks great! ;)
1: No. you should get a proper stand/cabinet. 2: A sump/fuge is not a necessity, but if you want one, then yes, get the tank drilled first. 3: I'd...

BTW, your tank is not suitable for a sailfin tang. They grow to 1.25 feet and require a lot of free-swimming space. Recommendation is 180g minimum....
That should work fine in a 55g with soft and LPS corals. You'd need a bit more (at least double) for SPS, though.
1. new bulbs 2. bigger CuC 3. more rock 4. ato 5 wavemaker 6. more livestock :D
That's wonderful news. Glad to hear. ;)
Beautiful add, indeed! Congratulations! :)
+1 Exactly. FYI, advertising agencies have been 'doctoring' pics long before the digital age. Elmers glue in the bowl of Cheerios instead of milk,...
