Grab and tear is the easiest way to get rid of it. Make sure when you remove it, to slowly tear it from the rock taking the base with the rest of it....

No carbon/chems here. Correct on the pruning caulerpa. When the chaeto grows too much I grab a clump and tear it out. Give it away/throw it away.
I wouldn't yank him out. Looks to be fairly healthy from the pics. Make sure it eats well and add some garlic to the diet. I'd worry if it starts to...
I don't think you are jacking this thread. In a general sense, caulerpa is better at nutrient export. The risk of sporulation is there. Chaeto grows...
