    I specialize in growing Red bubble algae and spending too much money at the LFS when I go there every 3-5 days.. :)

    if some rocks have crap on them. leave them in the old saltwater bin last.. use a toothbrush and scrub the outside of nasty rocks in that old tank...

    is this plenty of light for 60 gallon?

    your tank is 48" so you'll want a 48" T5 fixture.. and I would advise at least 2" gap from bottom of light fixture to top surface of water line.....

    PC bulbs need replacing more than any other reef bulb (every 6-8 months). I'd only get a 4 or 6 bulb t5 unit on your tank.. IMHO.. with T5s u can go...

    if your only doing fish only saltwater.. you'll probly want PH, Nitrates, Salinity test first.. some companys like API sell saltwater master kit...
