    Don't be adding Mg unless you know what your levels are and I didn't see that test. That will get you in trouble and your tank out of wack fast....

    Failed protein skimmer

    What corals are you keeping in the tank? With SPS's you will need a skimmer soon but with just softies you can get buy for a while without one.

    That is why your tank has not cycled, there is nothing in there. Some put a sock of dead shrimp in there but with your tank up this long just get one...
