The "general" rule ofthumb is 1" of fish per 2-3 gals of water
WOW:o, thats a steal. Make sure you fill it and wait for 3-5 days to see if it leaks. Sometimes cheaper is more expensive.
In most cases, a good water change will do, but in your case, you have too many fish.
Nitrates lowers ph, so your high levels of no3 is killing your ph and fish.
