    MH's are the way to go hands down. If you are a good DIY'r then you can get stuff pretty cheep. 250 Watt Metal Halide Ballast DIY (Do It Yourself)....

    If it was me I would use one of these Oceans Motions and not have to turn a pump on and off. It will handle up to 7500 gph.
