That sounds reasonable Clonefarmer.
Congrats, best of luck
Not sure about it. I would contact Rapid about that.
It should some. Place it on a sponge to dampen the vibration.
Ugh! that is not cool. I think the bulbs would fit but agree on not taking a chance. Shut off the actinics and replace with royal blue LED sounds...
Driftwood and slate would be good to add for decoration and hiding spots. 10 to 20 lbs would be good.
You have more than enough in the 20 with the fish you have in there. If your tank is a week old then it is still cycling.
That should be fine. I added my dosing that way until I got a doser setup. Just add each part separately so they don't precipitate. Add them at...
You would need a controller. They can be set to dose multiple times per day.
Welcome to 3reef You have a 1360 liter aquarium, minimum flow is recommended to be 20 times the volume or 27000L/HR. Your pumps total output is...
Interesting to know about the flow needs Curt, thanks for the info.
2 48" T5HO bulbs will work fine for your tank and its needs. Contact of LED sponsors and see what they suggest.
I would go with 5 to 7 of Chromis they just seem to be better that way.
UVL may make a blue bulb that goes in the fixture just not certain. I guarantee the blue will show.
The fixture is good for a 24 x24 area. Chromis are very active fish. A sixline wrasse is also very active.
Congrats, looking good
How much can you control the bulbs on the fixture. If you can turn off the actinics I would do that and add in the Crees. Actinics don't add much...
The added Crees definitely could. How about switching out one of the white T5 for a blue?
If you are going to remove the DSB then you should take the sump down and remove all of the sand. More damage will be done removing part of the dsb...
Very nice, congrats
