ok so you just run the top off water through the stirrer, how do you measure how much lime to put in the stirrer? also how do you control the stirrer?
do you have any pictures of the setup? i'm more of a visual person, also how do you control how much kalkwasser gets added to the top off?

ah ha there is your problem you need to get all the air out of the u-tube to get a proper siphon
seems a little steep in price check this out Back-UPS RS 1500VA and i am sure you can get them for a better price than from the mfg
adding a second u-tube will allow for more flow to be pulled out of the display but you would have to add a second drain pipe to deal with the excess...
