    You can make a 50/50 mix and soak for a while then rinse like crazy until the bleach smell is gone. Then soak in dechlorinator mixed per bottle...

    I would disinfect the plants and rock. Also disinfect all equipment. Toss the gravel and start over.

    Not in my experience. Excessive nutrients is resposible for algae growth. The color temperature of midday sun in the tropics is 5100K.

    You can as long as you leave room in the media chamber for the GFO to tumble. It is not quite as efficient as a reactor though.
