    Started playing with my Pukani rock!

    Mine was VERY dirty. I added it to an empty aquarium, and cycled it this way. If one was to use it to add more rock to an existing setup, I'd agree...

    Water Weight: Dry Rock vs. Live Rock

    It also depends on the type of rock you get. I've used Marco and Pukani...and the same size of Pukani weighs CONSIDERABLY less than the Marco did....

    Start with Acan Lords ("poofy" I believe it was described as) ;) Acan Enchinata is a bit more difficult to keep (water conditions). +1 on feeders...

    After Drilling Rock

    I used 3/8" Nylon Threaded Rod, and Nuts, screwed into an Acrylic Sheet below the sand (for weight dispersing).

    Drilling Pukani rock

    For what it's worth, Marco and Pukani rock is night and day from what I have ordered. Drilling was easier on the Marco than the Pukani.
