Thanks for the pics
Beautiful looking fish. I think you made a good score.
That is correct country.
Most definitely. You just keep diluting the old water until it has virtually no effect on the water in the tank.
Sort of like like zoanthids of Faviids. They grow the edge like a mat and them polyps form from the mat. [IMG]
Once they start they usually don't stop. It will probably end up decimating your SPS collection and then move on to other corals. Sorry to hear...
It can depending on it you have carbon in your filtration. If you have carbon there should be less of a problem.
Go ahead and use it on top offs and water changes.
Beautiful engineering
I think it is a chemical that the Caulerpa releases in the presence of coral.
Good to know on keeping the drain a straight shot to the sump.
Good idea, hope he stays in the display
Do you have problems with greens on other corals?
Shouldn't need a heater Try Home Depot or Lowe's, maybe Ace
Congrats on getting going again. Sounds like you were able to get a good start on a colorful reef tank.
No pic just cause it doesn't show well. I have water from the overflow sent directly to my fuge and another line to the sump. I drilled a hole in...
Best wishes in keeping your fish alive
You never know. I had some pygmy corydorus catfish find their way in to the back area on my 8 gallon biocube. Where there is a will there is a way.
