Definitely needs time to adjust. Large polyp LPS seem to be quite slow in acclimating IME.
If you got it Wednesday then it is still acclimating to the tank. Give it time.

It needs time to acclimate to your tank and will puff up and deflate periodically based on its mood and cleaning needs.
