    Did you clean the body recently? This could be the cause of it acting like it is new.

    It takes about 6 months if you don't have a good cooling system and you can get to around 12 months with a good cooling system.

    Return pumps are recommended to be 5 to 10 times the sumps volume at about 4 foot head.

    Opinions on Sump

    I agree with this post. Look for a 20 long tank or a 29 gallon tank. Then install baffles after you figure out what skimmer you are going to use...
