    Return Pumps - What to Look For?

    Buy a pump rated at 500gph at 4 foot head. You want to have 5 to 10 times the sumps volume going through it per hour.

    upgrading biocube 14 lighting

    I haven't used their kits but really liked what I saw. I have seen where folks have upgraded the cubes and were very happy.

    Lower your fill line until the back flow doesn't overflow the sump.

    Kent Tech M vs Bryopsis

    They have a lot of the metals bound to sulfate ions. Pure mgso4 works ok but the formulation in Kent Tech-M really puts it down.

    Which bulbs?

    I would go 2 ATI blue plus and 1 ATI aquablue special and 1 UVL Actinic white to make your reds and yellows pop.
