    Questions about Sump Tank Size

    Of course it is fine. The recommendation is for at least 20% of the DT. Some folks have sumps larger than the DT.

    How many bulbs? 2 bulb get ATI Blue Plus and ATI Aquablue Special 4 bulbs get 2 ATI blue Plus, 1 ATI Aquablue Special and 1 UVL Actinic White.

    Unresolved Ropefish have both passed away, I wish I knew how they died.

    Welcome to 3reef. I don't have much knowledge of ropefish, but the tank size is definitely an issue. A fish of that size would definitely pollute...

    Air Bubbles

    Go ahead and get rid of the airpump. Buy a small circulation pump and aim it at the surface to promote gas exchange if you have pH problems.

    If you can get a refractometer, they are more accurate and the reading doesn't drift with age as a hydrometer does.
