    The 4 bulb would be just fine for a 40 breeder. The hellolights would work great and save you some money. Their bulb quality isn't the greatest...

    Still have not seen Sweeper Tentacle

    Give it time, they normally come out at night after lights are out. They will come out if they sense another coral nearby.

    t5 are 5/8" in dia, t8 are 8/8" (1") in dia, t12 are 12/8" (1.5") in dia. Measure your bulb and that will let you know what size you have. T5HO are...

    lighting for 55 gallon

    You can do quite well with the t5ho you have. If you want MH you will need 2 x 175 minimum and 2x 250 if you want SPS dominant (down near the sand)....
