    If the live sand is from a bag it really isn't that beneficial. If the sand is from an established tank it is good. Getting 5 to 10lbs of live rock...

    drilling acrylic

    Just get a good hole saw to match the outer diameter of what ever you are drilling for, go slow and use water to cool the acrylic and saw blade....
