Peppermint shrimp sometimes come with their own issues. Sometimes they will not eat larger aiptasia, you may have to not feed the tank to encourage...
Congratulations. Great fish, shy at first.
Welcome to 3reef!
You removed part of your biological filter, it will should not take too much time for it to get up to speed again. Water changes, testing and...
You might just have to adjust the skimmer. And skimmers will show decreased skim mate or froth if you put you hands in the tank or when you feed.
No doubt support. :P
I could not agree more, and I keep looking for the tank that is solely LED that shows improved growth and coloration over MH.
Wow, that is really nice!! Are you going bare bottom?
Yes any corals actively feeding and filter feeders should eat some of it. Not typically a regular thing. I just do not see a lot of people reporting...
Can you get an image of the tank. I would think a 75 gallon should be able to handle a maxi-mini spawn. I image the fish, hermits, corals will...
Oh yes, not problem. If you go with the YWG try to a Tiger pistol and if you have to order them see if they can keep both in the same tank if you get...

Mine has always pulsed at higher pH. Infact if I see no pulsing I just add some buffer (if the alk is low) and the next day they pulse like crazy.
Welcome to 3reef! It is an exciting hobby. :-)
What it white and cloudy (a spawn)? Or brown and stringy (waste)?
I feel it is always best if you are going to get clownfish to get the pair at one time. IME this tank can easily handle 3 fish. Your right the...
Welcome to 3reef! Nice find on the tank, it looks great. Has it cycled yet?
Sorry to hear about the puffers, but it was the right thing to do if you want to take that size tank in the direction of corals. Excellent news...
The chaeto should be submerged, even the ends. I like it in a clump rather than all loose and stringy looking.
