    As long as you can test then theres nothing wrong with dosing cody. Iodide is essential but its easily over dosed.

    Keeping the big 3 stable and consistent will do more than putting iodine in your tank. I seriously don't believe your corals are depleting iodine...

    Any chemical can be overdosed. Iodide is safer than raw iodine but it will cause the same issues when it's over dosed. Your tank isnt consuming those...

    I'd leave them on the sand bed since that light is powerful. Once they acclimate or a few months go by you can move them but definitely not to high....
