it could be that the coral is expelling water and will slowly replace it. keep an eye on the exposed skellton, as long as your params are in check...

yours sounds like diatoms. is the tank fairly new? the sand probably had some silicates in it and need to just mature a bit
dinoflagellates are similar to diatoms not really a big deal. do some water changes replace your carbon and add more flow to those areas
sounds good. so how much rock did you get? any sand? the hardest part of starting this hobby is waiting for the cycle to complete. just be patient...
