Welcome to 3reef Leslie. Happy Friday
Good stuff. I just called Jeremy over there and purchased 15 peppermint shrimp. 25 turbo snails 1 red Zooanthids and an assortment of 12 brown...
Very cool. I appreciate the imput. I guess I will just keep what i'm doing as it has been working. I should probably replace the entire unit...
Interesting Idea Tangster. I will have to keep that in mind. I typically make RO water every other day and and in batches of 40gal. I also got my...
Great topic. I have actually never back flushed. It has been in use for almost 3 years and was actually running for the last 6 days straight to...
I thought you had 2 vho's as well as 2 metal halides to put on? If that is the case just start out with a few hours a day of light and then slowly...

Don't get me wrong when I say canister. I'm not saying it is better than a sump. I'm just trying to point out that a canister is not the end of the...

I guess it depends on your system. My thoughts are if you have been running a canister for some time now and your system is doing great it is not...
Nice clean job
I'm a fan and had one in my 75 with no issues at all. I would be worried about one starving in a smaller thank though.
Another good idea is to put the fuge and everything under your tank but create a door where only the fuge is visable. So to the novice an aquarium...
Agreed. My six line is cool with all my shrimp as well.
