We have one in my wife's tank, very beautiful fish. Ours is very shy. I liked our green spot much better, a lot of personality. Out of all the fish...
It will nip at stony most likely and other corals I'm sure. A puffer in a reef usually don't mix
Thanks for the vote of confidence my friend. I hope to see corals in your tank soon though. Hopefully my bulbs will be in next week
Good stuff. The prime is a powerful light.
Looking good!!! It's funny, my purple tang won't touch seaweed on a clip. I have to break off chunks for him. Spoiled fish. Lol
I would stay with the pro scajeo. I listened to my LFS saying that the blue bucket will give better color with lower alk and while that may be true...
Me too. I believe that and the spectrum of light has really changed quite a bit in my tank. Just ordered a set of 20k halide bulbs and and did one...
I've got the Phoenix in now from you guys but I miss that 20k radium. Thanks MD
Keep an eye out for bleaching, coral looking light in color. It's gonna grow regardless, strive for color and stability. Those levels are good.
Please tell me that you guys have radium 150 watt DE bulbs:D
Yes it does. I've read some people put sand in a type of container in the back of the tank just for the wrasse, maybe look into that option. Told ya,...
Really nice score, looking forward to the build. Reef savvy is by far my favorite tank manufacturer. Looking great!
Look into a radiant wrasse. Truly a spectacular fish. It would replace a coral beauty nicely. I loved mine and it was great in the reef. Picked on a...
As with me, it started as a hobby then grew into a passion. I soak in as much info as I can and use what works for my tank. I loose intrest in things...
It's how we learn. Trust me, in a few years on here and having a reef tank you'll be suprised at what you learn buddy. That's what keeps me going in...
I wouldn't worry about lugols at all right now. All ANY bacteria products do is help speed up the cycle. I would seriously do some research into what...
It's an algae, not bacteria cody. Buying inverts from petco is honestly a bad idea. Finding a local fish/reef store that's not a chain is much...
Sailfin tangs are known to eat corals too, I've seen it first hand. What size tank is this again?
That's an asterina starfish and some will eat zoas and or other corals. Manual removal is the best option IMO. Some don't don't bother corals but I...
Wow! The growth, color and selection are amazing stylaster. I'm with 2 in 10, what lighting is that? Well done man.
