just a note for those who may experience this same issue ... one of my fish last night got a little to happy at feeding time and splashed water all...
if you choose to go the bio pellet route, do a lot of reading. when playing with bacterias there can be issues, dead corals, dead fish.

Tropic Marin is an extremely good salt, imo it doesn't matter how you mix it it always mixes clear, i have never had an issue with it. i mix mine...
i would say no, if you want to cycle your tank faster buy some live bacteria meant for saltwater.

there is a difference between submersible and fully submersible . keep that in mind, if its only submersible you may just want to tilt it sideways...

tanks filled with all macros can be very pretty. if thats the route your going. there are so many macros out there.
from what i can see it looks like feather caulerpa ( photo looks blurry so its hard to tell) , and those vines will take hold of the rock and be hard...
yes its ok to have macro algae in your tank. some will spread though and is hard to get rid of. so choose it wisely if you plan on adding corals.
controllers are all different prices. but add a lot of fail safes to your tanks equipment

if you have a controller on your tank you could add water sensors to your controller, thats what i did.
