IMO, everybody should have a refractometer with calibrating fluid. Should be the first question when there's a problem, as most people don't know how...
Did you raise your calcium 150 points in one day, or did I miss something?
Took some tonight. I've had both angels since small juvies. They both eat NLS pellets and whatever meat the triggers get, usually scallops, shrimp or...
I've had Mag over 1800 for extended periods of time. Soft corals don't like it very much, but chalices and some other LPS love it. If you are not...
Your level of magnesium would not inhibit coral growth. Having your blue lights on for too long would mean too much intensity. The blue led's are...
I have two of the cheap Chinese LED's over my 125 and have great growth and color on LPS and SPS. LED's grow corals, there's no doubt. Either the...
Except for being closed up and a little melty and slightly discolored, they look fine. Sounds more like the light as I typed that. On a...
I can only imagine how cool that would look in my tank!
The Reef Angel thread is located here Reef Angel Controller • View topic - JEBO WP-40 ...and you can pre-order the cables to use with a...

Good to see your tang making a quick recovery, Vinny. Your Barnacle Blenny is the only one I've ever seen. Very cool little fish. Where to you get...
The magnet itself appears to be one piece. I had two of them expand like a football because the magnet was put together in strips. So, the question...
True, but there is no reason to step the size down right at the outlet. You are still reducing flow by a good percentage.
Yes, its a bigger factor than the bends in the pipes, and more often overlooked.
Using the reducer on the outlet will greatly reduce the flow. If you want maximum efficiency, use 1-1/2" pipe, out of the pump, then reduce it at the...
I have a huge wad of chaeto in the sump, Todd, but thanks. Nitrates have never been an issue. Phosphates are between .02-.04, but I have to assume...
Excellent pump choice. They are so quiet, I doubt that you would even need the dampening pad. It's nothing like a Mag pump.
Hope that CB does well for you, they are such beautiful fish. The Lymphocystis should be no big deal. Good luck!
