Please don't...stay away from that genus entirely!
I am guessing like most medications, skimmers will remove it and UV will leave it inactive. So both should be off for the entire treatment length....
Only the smaller ones though, that stay around 3" (think Cherub). Any that are larger require bigger tanks IMO.
To get the advantages you discussed about being able to house sand dwelling/sleeping fish (don't forget certain wrasses!), all the critters that come...
No you don't need to QT your current fish. Sorry, I meant to say any future new fish :)
Since you are transferring live rock and adding new water, the tank really should not cycle. When I transferred to my 125 I filled it with new salt...

No, GHA is not affected by flow in my experience. Fueled by excess nitrates and phosphates. Get those in check and it should be reduced or eliminated.
Todd - I would say to start recommending the newer design, D2120 vs. D120. Biggest difference is the much better heat sink, and so only two fans vs....
Welcome to 3reef! Nice fish selection so far :)
Ok, sounds like you have a good handle on it! I was just concerned if you had a lot more fish you were trying to treat in the 10.
