    Use a Polyfilter they work great I had an accidental dosage of copper and it cleaned it up after 6 of them and 3 months and 15-25% bi weekly water...

    You can get away with 75W sure....but look at the money your spending ..............you can buy a complete unit with 3W leds for what your spending.

    Option 1 is 44 watts and option 2 is only 24 for a 34 Gal you need at 120W to be sucessful for even softy growth and spend $350.00 for a good one
