That should be fine for softies and LPS. You might need more for SPS or just have to keep them high in the tank. Whats the brand of light and bulbs?
Welcome, and yes pictures are a must.
I do bi-weelky 5 gal water changes on my 29 biocube and don't run a skimmer. All has been well for over a year.
Great build so far. Cant wait to see the finished project.
Even a large one would have trouble catching a healthy fish. Just look how hard it is for us to catch them with a net. It could happen but I would...
IMO there is slim chance a blue leg could grab a healthy fish. One that is dead or on its way out maybe.
Went by Oasis looking for Strictly Reef and they are not there anymore, but there is a banner on the side that says "Coming Soon Ofishal" Is this...
The osmolator is tried and true, and cheaper. So why choose this? Will have to see how it does.
Mine never liked a lot of flow either. Did best in low/med lighting to low/med flow.
Torches will have thinner and longer tentacles (polyps) also. Your is a hammer.
Nice review. Thanks for taking the time.
Might be your brittle. They have been known to eat fish. I had one in my old tank that if not fed would catch and eat fish at night when they slept.
They also have coral inserts, basically fake coral that looks good in a FOWLR. Just another option.
I think you'll be happy with one. They really are a cool little fish.
What size and how old is the tank. What are you water parameters?
Great pics cant wait to see more. Welcome 2 3reef! :)
Wow very nice. Cant wait to get a clam of my own.
Do you know how old the filters are and do you have a tds meter?
I think thats for the flush kit. you open it to flush it.
They are cool little tanks. Keep an eye on craigs list, you can find some great deals on them.
