i had a camel back.... did touch anything reef or fish, infact it was the friendliest shrimp... would pick at my fingers. he got eaten by my coral...
they go where they want no way to control it.
ya the black stuff is the best.
IME a well fed previously healthy fish will be fine. i have had 3 different fish get it and all survived with no supplemental garlic etc.
its apparently a survival tactic not a reproduction thing

The mouth is gaping and the tentacles are shortened and stubby. To me it looks like it is starving not of light but food. silversides or shrimp.

some snails cant right themselves you got ot do it for them lol. when mine fall over i have to stick my hand in there to flip them up

the sleeper gobies would have been ok. they eat not only detirius in the sand. they will eventually eat pellets and nori. i have had mine for a full...
the zoos are another story. he never pics at them.
Could this loss of coral be from my old halide lights? they are over 12 months old.

their population will explode and then crash. thats what happened to me when i started my tank.
I have read some good stuff so this is inline...i have also read problems with ballast etc.... but i think that can go with any of them before...
