o and use RO/DI water tap water is often very high in nitrates and that could be your problem.

if your looking for sps then you can try some montiporas, also zoanthids are good, and some Lps like acans,
that means he had ick its a common disease for new fish. thats what probubly killed him although its odd that he was eating and acting normal
