Great video homegrown, loved the picture at the end;D
Very nice I want SPS so bad but I have to wait until I upgrade to halides this fall.
No prob and good advice on the seaweed sheets my friends foxface loves nori. I would try that even better if you soaked it in garlic.
He said it wasn't eating.
Do you have a qt tank you could put him in and try to get it to eat?
Is he eating? Soak your food in garlic.
Algae is going to happen at some point in almost any tank. Are you using RO/DI water?
Wow, very nice.
For lighting I would get t-5's. Your gonna want to get a clean up crew next.
Fuge looks good. Are you going to grow pods in there? Your six line would love 'em.
Welcome to 3reef and good luck with the new tank!
Sounds like your doing great. That brown algae is most likely diatoms and almost every new tank gets them they will go away on there own after 1-3...
Cool, good job.
Well for now I use PC but I'm upgrading to 2 x 250watt metal halides in August. Also, I don't think PC's are crap they are just not that great but if...
Agreed, I mean I know these things probably work great but seriously they must be making a lot of money from each unit sold, but I really don't know...
I heard they will commonly stay dormant for up to 72 hours so yours should be OK.
How long have you had them? I've only had mine for about 8 hours now so I'm not too worried.
Alright good I'll just have to wait for the ceriths to come around. Everyone else seems to be doing good especially the nerites they are moving all...
I only have like 5 hermits and they don't seem to be messing with the ceriths.
Cool thanks guys. Some Florida Cerith shells have nothing sticking out of them does that mean those ones are dead or just dormant like the others?
