I have moonlights that stay on ALL the time... they are not visible of course when the halides are on. My candy coral will not extend its feeder...
I also listen to a little of everything.. mostly old rock.. saw some ac/dc and skynyrd already in this thread. Also listen to some new heavy stuff...

Depending on where the tank is you shouldnt really need the chiller. I have two 250w mh over my 125.. same tank actually.. raised 4" off the water.....
Also do you have any traces of ammonia... mine did this when I had an ammonia issue. Ammonia burn.. usually effects the gills area first.

Here are some options I found... can get two 150w mh buckets with t5 actinics built in (12w a piece, 2 in each bucket). Or can get 8x54w t5's...
I put mine in a cup.. dip out some water from the tank... let it dissolve a bit.. mix it around by shaking the cup in a circle... then slowly pour...
