    With that said i would say no. LR will be your MAIN filtration in the saltwater tank, adding it later will only hurt the tanks abiluity to break down...

    Put the rertrns as close to the top as you want. good luck. i would say eh... 1.5" down from the trim is the center of your hole, and perhaps 2.5"...
