What size tank? How deep? 1" from water is quite low, so I would definitely consider dimmers and I would most certainly add an acrylic cover.
Noticed the bud last weekend. [IMG]
Well can you tighten it until it rotates to the direction you want it to be in? (12, 3, 6 or 9) Good luck
My home depot carries an elbow with threads. That's what you're looking for, right? Try HD again.
What kind of metal?
Pony express delivery?;)
Well my sump design will not work. It was priced out at $312. I am not paying anywhere close to that sum of money on a sump. I would be hard pressed...
Yet you still watch it. Reality shows are far from reality. They are scripted. No one's life is that interesting.
I doubt it was killing the coral. It may have been eating tissue off of a dying coral, however. These worms got a bad rap because they were seen...
Some sort of bistleworm. I have probably 2 -dozen. They do a great clean-up job in my tank.
Yep. It probably had dual overflow. You can just do one pipe. There is space in front of both pipes that should allow for the Seaclone to fit.
The only problem I see is that the right compartment is extremely small (not much room for a fuge). I think the small size would better serve a...
I'll add this, I had LEDs for a year and made the switch to metal halide. I think MH, LED and T5 all have their perks and down sides. It will really...
Applied the polyurethane and it seemed to thin out the stain. In some places it improved and in other places it doesn't look as good. Overall, I am...
Honestly, it will completely be up to you. Sounds like you did your research. Rapid is good. Also look at group buy led.com.
I have the skimmer and don't use the other parts. I attached my pump right to the bottom. It's designed to hang on the back of a tank. I use mine in...
Sump looks solid. I would put skimmer in the first compartment (in front of pipes), chaeto/rock/sand in middle and return in far compartment.
It's a Seaclone skimmer. They're about $100. You will need to buy a maxijet 1200 to run it. The light was probably $200 or so new. Sumps like that...
Sanded and stained. Still a lot of trim work to be done and doors to be built. [IMG]
Still no sign of them. I don't think I'll do another treatment at this point in time.
