^They are both same coral 1 pic is with moonlights or actinic, 1 not, i think. Montipora and birdnest corals are the same i think.....
2-3 snails per gallon is what i think heard on another thread. like 1 hermit a gallon. Dont want to many crabs, they get feisty :P
they will only dissolve into calcium, which i think is what us people with corals want :P

never use inverts for tank cycle. just too finicky about water quality. Damsels are the only ones that could be attempted to cycle tank with, but...
A hippo tang (Dory) should be kept in bare minimum of 75 gallons IMO. If a yellow tamg technically shouldnt be in a 55, than a hippo must go farther.
thats the same thing a refugium does :D just that this one doesnt get to have macro algae in it

it can be done, but i would get some starboard or something so there isnt areas with more pressure on glass than other areas.
Those bubbles are probably from a thin layer of algae on rocks that are making the bubble "stick to it".
i had 260w of CF on a 55gal and i kept softies and some LPS okay. You should be fine....but i would try to go T5. the bulbs last longer and hace way...
