The bioballs should be okay then...Will just rinse them regularly. If I use live rock in this section I am afraid debris from it will get sucked up...

Run some new carbon... I also bought stress enzyme from wal mart when my fish were having the ammonia issue.. dropped my ammonia and nitrates down...
