Knew that was coming LOL. Too late to start a build thread tonight. Should have it up tomorrow though!
(mostly) Completed setting up my 125! Controller is setup, wires are managed, a couple fish are swimming, corals seem to love the new tank :)
Welcome to 3reef! Watch out though, once you start with corals, you can't stop :P
Unfortunately that is not meant for a reef tank (actually freshwater as the description says). If you are on a budget, a Reef Breeders value fixture...
I don't clean the back glass.
Welcome to 3reef! Very cool that you are both involved as others have mentioned. And, I 4th the recommendation to go with either a 75 or 90 instead...
Very interesting! I skimmed it since I don't have time to read it all right now, but you are correct, I did not know that 8)
Tank looks awesome now! Nice work :)
I have never owned a Reef Octopus skimmer, so sadly I can't assist. So a free bump for you hoping someone can!

I really like mine! I use it on a 46BF. It may be a tad undersized for a 125, but certainly better than nothing. As long as your DT water level...
Mine is very quiet IMO. It is in my kitchen and you can barely notice it.
A smaller Bristletooth would be your call. I just won't tell anyone that they should if you know what I mean. As for angels, as mentioned a smaller...
For wrasse in a 55, you could do a Flasher Wrasse or two, a Possum Wrasse, or a couple smaller Fairy Wrasse. Stay away from Sixlines. See this post...
Glad to hear they took care of you :)
I still like mine, even I don't win anything. This is definitely a fun, unique contest :)
