must be... maybe he can sense earthquakes like dogs can!? aha :D btw... someone mentioned "black octopus" while referring to the nem... no idea if...
but really i think that would be soooo cool looking!!
haha funny you say that... i actually had a nightmare about him a couple nights ago... he was as big as a truck and chasing me i woke up sweating...
i understand what your saying, and i should have mentioned that the damage free zone is only short term
my best friend turns 21 on 12/21/2012... well probably be too drunk to even realize the worlds ending
now thats the spirit!!! i am going to get 500 green/blue chromis for my 90 and watch the beauty :)
Long story short... this is "nemzilla" hes been an ongoing joke between me and the lfs employees (been returned 3 times by different customers...
siphon it out
unless he dies, he will have to grow, making him easier to find. you can try to isolate the rock he is in then dip in fresh and hell come right out...
weve been "screwed" for 50 years now. wasnt the world supposed to combust or something a few years ago? hahaha
my mantis curls up and lays on his back all the time. i call it "personality" hahah :)
besides looking awkward no. go for it! haha its your tank

CUC= clean up crew (snails, hermits, etc) mantises= mantis shrimp. not safe with any other living thing haha hence they live (divided) in my fuge
ive done both... but i think im gonna go reverse schedule for better pH stability. i wouldnt put any CUC in the fuge. i have 2 mantises in mine
just had a 3.4 about 5 miles south of me... this is getting serious
now a 6.4 in taiwan!!! ahhhhh
yeah, different salinities work for different tanks but IMO 1.022 is too low, i keep mine at 1.024-1.025
haha mine sat in a rock for 2 days before i realized he was dead
