    I still do water changes. But there are many 3reefrs that do not do them. I think it depends on your system. Mine definitely does better with water...

    Protien skimmer on timer?

    Doesn't hurt to keep it running, and you get the side benefit of added O2 to the water.

    No she said the male is breathing heavy and not moving much, but breathing. Only time will tell now. I think they have a fighting chance.
