    I think the bulbs with the built in reflector are designed for the older type T5 retrofits that don't have a reflector. I can't see them being better...

    I use one UVL 75/25 14000K and one UVL Aquasun 10000K pink as part of my 8x54 T5 retrofit. They are awesome bulbs. I already have reflectors though...
