yes i do see that, I was primarily comparing the pictures between the leds and the first picture taken with t5s.

the general rule for new saltwater is to wait 24 hours, but......i find that i dont have any issues after letting it mix for an hour or two....
do you have a powerheads or anything for water flow? I used to run a tank with no filter and just a powerhead and heater with no problems for a year
