If this were my 40.. i would go with the SWC HOB skimmer. its rated at 90 light.... 50 heavy bio load. for 140... its not bad. it would skim that...

I think she was implying that you should get a skimmer rated for twice what your tank is. Not actually doubling your water volume for the skimmer....
Yeah use super glue gel. gorilla glue does fizz up and bubble and what not. Couldnt imagine putting it in my tank.
