no need for a skimmer. I never knew what a skimmer was until I got in to saltwater, and Ive had 150g cichlid tanks.
Majano's are common but not very common and can be a nuissance, occasionally see corals hitchhiking.
edit: I posted the wrong message for this post, hahahahaha Everything looks fine, I'd leave them be.
If you have them in your sump for filtration, you need a UV sterilizer on your return to keep them out of your tank.
LMAO
welcome to 3reef!
buffer it to 8.0-8.3 and possibly add some stability just in case. Then let it cycle.
you could put a true actinic bulb in it and add it with the dawn and dusk effect, but thats about it.
Its just a blister now, Ive had worse blisters from sunburns that were worse.
ph needs to come up a bit, so your Ca or Ma is off.
The cycling process, you're just wanting to grow bacteria. Coraline comes after its cycled or almost over. As for dosing calcium, make sure you have...
wouldnt hurt to add it. I use it in everytime I start a new tank to kick start the bacteria. What are test results on the tank so far?
Alk 8-12dKH Calcium 400-450 ppm Magnesium 1250-1350ppm
good poem!

not cured=dead and dieing critters=stinky water and/or house. I would put a skimmer on there is you dont have one because you can get too much...
done that a few times back at the LFS I use to work at. Got the owner on that!!! LMAO
Your calcium is low, ph is a little high, need to test for magnesium and KH or DKH instead of ph. Once you get the balance of those 3, coraline will...
I had already taken it outside, I use the water hose to rinse it out.
