I would say you have mostly stirred up the tank and created a nitrate problem..I had the same thing in my 29g, i moved it across the street and ended...
How high is the chalice in the tank? When i upgraded from PC to MH a few months ago, i pretty much lowered ALL my corals to the bottom of the tank...
We are asking what type of lighting because that is a factor in this.
IME corals will turn brown if there are too much nutrients. And too much light.
Yeah, they can survive...IME they havnt.
