    nicest coral turns ugly?

    I have corals in my tank that don't like chemipure at all. I'll never use it again. I run purigen and couldn't be happier.

    My tanks are as clean as can be with no nitrates or phosphates and my softies have grown like crazy. Never heard of corals liking a dirty tank??

    Thanks OFK. I ended up putting them in my reef tank and moved my maroon clowns to the 125. The reef tank has been coming along nicely.

    If the corals still have tissue they can recover. I've seen amazing recovery on corals with very little tissue left.

    I think as long as your feeding a varied diet the fish would be ok with occasionall freshwater species. I feed mysis to all my marine animals along...
