    Remember that the water doesnt cycle, its the Lr and LS that does. I've had the same sand for over 10 yrs and never had to change it out. Luna

    Your gonna have to dis-assemble the pump and see if the impeller is dirty or worn. While your there, you might as well clean the impeller housing...
