Looking good.
I use a kent phosphate reactor with a maxi jet 1200. Keeps my bio pellets moving great. Cost me 40 dollars.
My sump is a trickle style and I crushed up live rock in place of bio balls with a skimmer and external pump and my params are always solid. Am I...
That's a bit much man. All that was said is stability is important as much as a number. And if the tank is thriving at 80 then keeping that number...
Happy new year to all my fellow reefers. May our future be wet and fishy with a chance of corals!! :cheesy:
Agreed. Stability is the key when it comes to temp. Now I have noticed my tank is much happier now that I run a chiller and my tank stays at 76-78....
Tank size was asked in op other thread but never answered. Tank dimensions would help to get proper info.
A wet dry is more than suffecient for filtration. Make sure you have good biological media in the sump as well as a skimmer. You can use bio balls...
Congrats buddy.
Good question. Also the questions you asked on the second post are ones you want answered before adding fish to your tank. Doing research before...

The diatom bloom will end soon and the brown algae will literally dissapear. The green film algae on the glass is a constant battle though. I'm...
Since you used the word cookie todd, you took all toughness away. Lol:P
A lot of blue throats I've seen are generally shy. Just give the fish time. Make sure your params are good as that alone can stress out a fish into...
I actually removed all the bio balls and broke up a lot of my cycled live rock and put the pieces where the bio balls went. Now the water runs...
Not sure what it is but I'm sure its an acropora of some sort. Hopefully it will survive. I rescued this piece and a few small ones I glued to frag...
Try and get a full spectum from white to pure actinic. Your names are to similar chris. Lol.
Separate names with a comma.
