get your Mg above 1400 first. you'll need to maintain Mg above 1400 b4 you can maintain your Ca level.

no i did not. that was part of my point. all i did was move it low in the tank to partial shade and then left it alone. good luck.
Is it bleaching or is it loosing its flesh or both? I was able to fully recover this chalice. I put it in partial shade at bottom of tank and left...

I got rid of all hermits that weren't blue leg. I can't imagine a reef without them. I add some extra snails once a year... no biggy
