They already make these for aquariums, they are T8.
I would keep exposure to air to a minimum unless they are glued to the rock, just move em down.
Yeah he did. BVB, good luck with this build, a NPS tank would be awesome!
Okay. And for future reference I have read here that adding established water won't help cycling. Wondering what you thought?
I think the reason tangs are not great for a 40 or 55 is because of the width.
I'm still confused...has the tank been set up for 2 weeks 4 days or 6 days? What are current params? I think this would help more than PMING me. Oh...
Yes please stop bragging about how much more experience you have than me. I've kept my fair share of BTAs so I think that the info I give is valid....
Your tank is not even cycled, shouldn't you wait 4 or 5 months before even considering a nem? Plus you'll have to upgrade lights.
Nice, any other fish tats?
Blackbar Chromis FTW!
Yeah BVB, come on.
I would just get a Koralia Pico Evo, those things are tiny!
Glad I could help! But keep the karma for coralline. He was the one who found it first.
+1 to micro bristle star. micro brittle star - Google Search
Here is a post by steve wright about this exact subject (kole or yellow in 55) Well written and thought it might help:
Not so! Fairy wrasses are fine in a 55, probably the best minimum tank for them! Foxfaces grow slow and are more sluggish than tangs, so you could...
Which means it isn't cycled. The nitrite still has to convert to nitrate. Then you do a WC wait a few more days and it will be cycled.
So not 3 weeks, and since when has it been cycled? On such a small tank I would wait a bit, get your eye in on params and such with rics or shrooms...
I think you should make sure your tank is cycled.
Will the islands be shaped in the form of LS and U? lol
