they still can get stressed by being in freshwater, a dip imo will do more harm than good
like i said previously and most have stated after, quarantine would be much better than a dip
this is incorrect, freshwater dip will only stress the fish and lead them to get parasites even if they didnt have any. its safest just to put it in....
could be, if they are a mated pair chances are they will lay eggs in your tank at some point

dont dip it that will stress it too much. you dont often dip new introductions. even fish.
